Experience That Shapes the Work
Tim's approach to website research is informed by a professional background that spans private education, electronic data systems, and business development.

Working across these fields has reinforced the importance of understanding how information is organized, how systems communicate, and how technical decisions affect real-world operations.

That perspective carries into his work at Your AI Wizards. Rather than treating website improvements as isolated technical tasks, Tim examines how individual elements contribute to a business's broader digital presence and how those elements can be made clearer, more consistent, and better connected.
Tim Hallam
Chief Operating Officer | Your AI Wizards
Tim Hallam is Chief Operating Officer of Your AI Wizards, where he helps businesses understand how their websites communicate information to search engines and AI systems.

His work combines technical website research, structured data evaluation, and practical business experience. Through his involvement with the WAVI Institute, Tim has helped develop and refine a research methodology used to examine hundreds of professional websites across multiple states.

He focuses on identifying where information is missing, disconnected, inconsistent, or insufficiently supported, then translating those findings into practical recommendations businesses can act on.
Research That Refined the Approach
When Tim began evaluating law firm websites through the WAVI research program, the initial focus was relatively straightforward: determining whether websites contained structured data.

As the research expanded from Colorado into additional states, that question proved insufficient. The presence of schema markup did not necessarily mean that the information was relevant to the business, properly connected, or useful in describing its expertise.

Tim helped refine the evaluation methodology to examine not only whether structured data existed, but also its quality, relevance, and relationship to the information presented on the website.

The research also expanded to include technical conditions such as crawler access, indexability, website performance, and the organization of business information.

This progression reinforced an important principle that continues to shape Tim's work at Your AI Wizards: meaningful website improvements begin with understanding what the evidence actually shows, rather than assuming that implementing a particular technology will produce a particular result.
Turning Research Into Practical Improvements
Identifying a technical weakness is only the beginning. Tim's work at Your AI Wizards focuses on determining what that weakness means for a business and what can reasonably be done to address it.
Â
A website may contain accurate information about its services, experience, and capabilities, yet fail to communicate how those details relate to one another. In other cases, important information may be missing, inconsistently presented, or difficult for automated systems to access.
Â
Tim uses research findings to help distinguish between improvements that address meaningful information gaps and changes that simply satisfy a technical checklist.
Â
His goal is to help businesses strengthen the information they already have, identify what still needs to be developed, and make practical decisions based on evidence rather than promises of improved AI rankings or recommendations.
The objective isn't to make every technical change possible. It's to make the changes the evidence supports.
Sharing What the Research Teaches Us
Tim believes that research becomes more valuable when its findings can be understood and applied by the people who need them.

Through his articles, contributions to the WAVI Institute, and participation in Your AI Wizards' Live & Found discussions, he explores how changes in search and artificial intelligence affect the way businesses present themselves online.

His writing and conversations focus on translating technical findings into practical explanations, helping business owners distinguish between emerging opportunities, established practices, and claims that have not yet been supported by evidence.

For Tim, the objective is not simply to explain how technology is changing. It is to help businesses understand what those changes mean for the information they publish, the decisions they make, and the customers they want to serve.
